Powder Room Complete!

Finally, finally ready to share the finished bathroom and wrap everything powder room related up.  The majority of this remodel happened while JG was deployed to Kuwait for 9 months, sans the mirror framing, and sink hook up.  This was a great learning project for me. However, I definitely missed having JG around to bounce concepts and ideas off.  At the bottom of this post you can find links to all the products and tutorials I used in this remodel.

First a walk down memory lane…

The Before was a perfectly functional bathroom, just wasn’t very pretty.

After the a quick demo I put down Leonia Silver Glazed tile.

Getting the wall planking/trim work up was really fun, I couldn’t wait to get paint on it!

DIY Abbot inspired cement vanity

Inspired by the Abbot Pottery Barn Vanity I came up with this build, using pine for the base and Henry’s feather Finish for the counter.  You can read about it Here and Here

ANNNNDDDDD……Below is a picture of the finished bathroom!  I’m kicking myself now because this is the best picture I could find out of the few I took.  I rushed a lot of the final house pictures so we could get them up on zillow. I am fully regretting it now, oh well.  We will hopefully live here again, and I can take more then.

Hey just wanted to give you a quick heads up.
The words in your post seem to be running off the screen in Internet explorer.

I’m not sure if this is a format issue or something to do with
web browser compatibility but I thought I’d post to let you know.

The design and style look great though! Hope you get the issue fixed
    soon. Thanks
